It's been a real pain working with this image, ff-outfits are way to complicated! Originally I was going to draw Balthier standing beside her, but his costume is even worse!
Also, one night I'd been working with this image for a couple of hours, then my cat started to walk around on my keyboard, and somehow erased everything I had done!
Damn cat!
So, this is as good as it gets, I've lost my patience with this image!
(Oh, and I actually used Kevin Costner as a reference for this! Hard to believe? )
This is really good! I don't understand why there aren't more favourites or comments here. She looks actually a bit evil aiming there. I like all the details that you have created. And her legs are nicely shaped.
I know what you mean about the details... especially in FFXII. I started drawing Ashe recently - and it took forever just to get a rough design down.
Fran looks so threatening here, its very cool. I like the pose you gave her, and all of the anatomy, like the legs, stomach and arms looks great. You managed to get in all those details in the end, and to finish it off you gave it some really good colouring. Beautiful fanart. (:
Yeah, characther designs in ffxii just isn't very fanart friendly. I'm glad you like my efforts though!
I tried my best to make her look mean, after all the concept of a giant anti-social rabbit warrior is kind scary...
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. Who'd knew he'd make a sexy female FF character?
And you captured her wonderfully. Great work.
